Pressing Instructions - Embroidered

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ON HARD GOODS

Make sure the application area is thoroughly cleaned. We recommend the use of rubbing alcohol. Remove paper backing and press firmly on the desired location.

LOW MELT HEAT SEAL ON GARMENTS - TOP HEAT

  1. Set the press at 315-325° F with 70-80 psi of pressure.
  2. Place the garment in the press. Make sure that the application location is wrinkle-free.
  3. Place the patch onto the desired location on the garment. Thermal tape is optional.
  4. Place a FlexStyle® silicone pad over the design.
  5. Press for 12-18 seconds
  6. Remove the garment from the press and allow to cool.

LOW MELT HEAT SEAL ON HATS - USING THE IQ 360 HAT HEAT PRESS

  1. Set the press at 275°-285° F for top heat and 315°- 320°F for bottom heat with 60-80 psi of pressure.
  2. Place the hat on the heat press, leaving out the inner layer of the cap. Use the adjustment lever for a better grip.
  3. Place the patch on the desired location. To secure the patch and preventing it from moving, use Thermal Tape.
  4. Place a FlexStyle® silicone pad over the design.
  5. Press for 15-18 seconds.
  6. Deactivate the adjustment lever and remove the hat from the heat press.
  7. Remove the Thermal Tape once the patch has cooled.

LIMITATIONS

Low Melt: Since the product is applied with heat, it is not recommended for use on materials that may be heat sensitive (ex. some nylons, silk some plastics, leather, wool, fleece, etc.). The product is intended to be used on hats, bags and jackets that are not intended for regular home washing.


Pressure-Sensitive: The use of these emblems on surfaces that may contain an oil finish, such as silicon, Protective Guard Sheet, rough fabrics, or outdoor goods is not recommended.
